Grant Morrison/Green Lantern Fans....heads up!
Edited on Mon Nov-10-03 04:24 PM by khephra
It's currently only a rumor, but this is something that a lot of us have been hoping for--both seeing Hal return and Grant on the title, no matter how short of a span that run might be:

One of the more common rumours doing the rounds over the last fortnight is that John Byrne is doing a Green Lantern project - and so is Grant Morrison.

It transpires that Grant Morrison is writing an arc for the main series, reintroducing Hal Jordan as Earth's Green Lantern, before Geoff Johns takes over the title with Carlos Pacheco. I understand that Morrison has been given the whole of the Green Lantern Corps to play with, save one. And that John Byrne's Green Lantern series will involve John Stewart.

More to come on this one, I'm sure.

1. I haven't read comic books in years, but
I do have to say that Green Lantern is the greatest superhero of of all time. I'm still waiting for a movie. I'm not too much of a fan of the new guy, I've always been of a fan of Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner myself. I'd really like to see the Green Lantern Corps come back too. Just one green lantern isn't enough for the whole galaxy.

2. Hal as "The Spectre" is a pretty neat idea...
so if Hal's back to normal, who gets to be the Spectre now- Snapper Carr???

3. Nah, Snapper is hanging out with the future Hourman
Man, I miss the Hourman revamp! It was one of the few recent revamps that I really enjoyed.

4. Sounds cool...
But I miss the days of Denny O'Neil and Neal Adams.

5. Great run!
I'm also a big fan of O'Neil's version of "The Question".

If you aren't a fan of Morrison, I'll say this: he's the only person who has made Kyle an interesting character, imo. (see his run on JLA).

6. Sweet!
Oh this could be quite excellent! I am always expectant of Grant's new work, but this would be extra-special! After what he did with the X-Men, anything is possible!

Thanks for pointing me to this thread, Kheph! :loveya:

7. I happy to serve!
Geoff Johns isn't half bad either. Ask around here and you'll find out that he's quite the liberal writer.
