I don't know what it's called but it sure was good. |
Last night with supper we had green beans from the garden cooked with onions and new potatoes. I took the leftovers today and sauteed them in a little chili oil and threw in some cooked shell pasta, a little salt and pepper and a clove of garlic. I ate it with some multigrain flatbread and DAYUM it was good! I'll have to make some more!

Anything from the garden tastes good. My green beans are pretty much done, but I'm still getting lots of tomatoes and the cucumbers and bell peppers are starting to come in.

6. Our green bean are still going strong.. |
we plant bush and pole varieties. We figured the bush beans would be done by now, but they're still going with more blossoms. My tomatoes did well, but my cucumbers...oy. Ditto with the potatoes. They really did poorly-we only got a few small ones-they still taste good.

9. That's a traditional holiday food in our house... |
I wonder why we only eat it on holidays?
