With schools starting up again.. |

how would you handle vacation time? I wouldn't make the summer vacation longer - I think I'd distribute it more throughout the year. Maybe a couple weeks vacation at a time throughout the year.

have three weeks off every nine weeks - good for mental health - kids and teachers.
Maximizes school usage, too.

2. I've had a tough time with my kids this summer... |
|
Almost everyone in town -- all my kids' friends -- go to some kind of camp, so there hasn't been anyone to play with. My own kids don't want to go to camp, plus, we can't afford it (especially this year).
I've had to do a lot of entertaining -- and bitching at them, unfortunately.
Still... I wouldn't want the pain to be dragged out in dribs and drabs throughout the year. It would be really inconvenient for parents who work outside the home, too.
