Or I flip them the bird if they're in front of me in traffic. I hate them.

5. Originally, I had one
because I had donated money-a lot more than a buck- to the local Guard unit to buy them body armor. Back then, you couldn't get them at the store. They had some meaning, and everyone in town who had one knew that everyone else was helping the local Guardsmen. When the magnets became available at the local convenience store, I took mine off and threw it away.

10. This guy is a cheap opportunist.
A dedicated person would show the yellow magnet and say,

"Your yellow ribbon doesn't help the troops."

Or...

"You're yellow like your ribbon - go to Iraq, chickenhawk!'

It galls me to think these people actually believe they are helping the troops or morale or ANYTHING other than making an opportunist rich.

25. No, he's not. I have one, too. So shoot me.
I live in a seriously red district and I stuck one on the back of my lovely new car, between my New Yorkers for Kerry-Edwards and DU bumper stickers, hoping to keep from being rear-ended...
:scared:

However, I now have one that I really can get behind. It's white, with blue lettering and a peace symbol on it. This one says Bring the Troops Home Now! Am I forgiven?

23. Love the ones on Hummers and oversize SUVs
Supporting the troops in Iraq fighting for oil in 110 degree heat by driving in a Hummer that, between the huge size and cranked AC keeping its occupants at a comfortable 70 degrees on their way to the mall, gets 10MPG. Oh, the irony. How about changing that magnet to one that reads "I'm a Complete Dumb-Ass"

31. That's my favorite, too! LOL!
I'd love to sport one of those, but am pushing the envelope, here in my red district, with my Bring the Troops Home Now! ribbon!
:scared:

This ribbon business has really gotten out of hand! How many cars, trucks, SUVs do you see without at least one or two? Here in NY State, they are ubiquitous.
