1. Seems he's conspicuous by his absence.
I asked this a few months ago, and all I recall is a reply to the effect of "you'd know if you were paying attention."

And then I saw his name come up for some appearance or other a few weeks ago.

But yeah, you'd think he'd be all over the place these past four years.

2. Funny that you asked it. Maybe I saw it. No snarky response this time.

You'd think he'd be weighing in on THINGS. Now that the Ramones are gone, his stock has no doubt gone up, he'd no doubt get more press. Not too many punk rock dieties left. especially ones with a political activist hyphenate. Hope the man who gave us Holiday in CAmbodia and Kill the Poor is not sick, burned out or on drugs.

(I could never see JB going the rock 'n' roll cliche burnout route.)

ON EDIT: You know, I think he's got a shitty publicist:

Jello has this to say about the quagmire in Iraq:
"Hijacking 9-11 to invade Irag is the worst mistake our government has made in my lifetime. The whole War on Terror has been turned into a scam. Our lives are at stake. Our soldiers lives are at stake. The best way to support the troops is to bring them home now. The most patriotic thing any of us can do is rise up and fight our government when they break the law. No more illegal wars. No more torture on foreign shores. If we let the White House get away with any of this, Abu Ghraib and Gitmo at home are right around the corner."

3. I remember seeing he was doing a spoken word in LA
about a year or two ago, but he was opening for some lady singer whose name I cant recall but was apparently popular enough to command something like a $35 ticket price, so I didnt go.

6. Plastic surgery and a new line of work

A lot of his fans feel betrayed, accusing him of selling-out.

13. I don't think that Rumsfeld picture is there just for fun...
I believe it to be an essential part of the poster's joke. A good one, too!

12. He's been in Europe
doing shows with the mighty Melvins. Reviews are decidedly mixed... I saw him last year sing with them for one tune - a killer version of Alice Cooper's "Halo of Flies". Sweetness.

18. I spoke with him last October.
Backstage at a Ministry show in Chicago.

He said he was working with the Melvins....and also recording some new Lard material.

He came onstage with Ministry that night and did a tune with them as well.
