3. been there done that.. drinking alone is a bad sign. i blacked out on my
first drink and woke up 30 years later.. my second wife was saying something about if i didn't quit drinking... Bla Bla Bla Yak Yak Yak:spank: :beer: :grr: :nuke:

6. i tried everything.. lived at AA. I had given up and was just trying not
kill myself, being that i am hypoglycemic.. i was maintaining a moderate dose, with an occasional black out and F*ck up.

I ran into a Pema Chodron tape..'When Things Fall Apart'.. great tape, then i ran into a Tibetan Monk in El Paso TX, and learned to meditate, that is what helped me to stop..

after meditating for 3 years and 3 Buddhist meetings a week, 2 study meetings and saturday morning meditation.. i had a white light revelation during a group meeting... that Buddhism was like an AA meeting for people addicted to conventional thought.. that still makes me smile.
