Anybody seen the 40-year-old virgin? |

I thought it was hilarious, really smart and well-written. If you think it's gonna be stupid, don't be discouraged. It's excellent.
I will admit that it might have struck a little too close to home, given that I'm nearly halfway there. Although I suppose being a virgin at 19 isn't THAT unusual or shameful. More troubling is the fact that I could see myself as that guy, given that I've never actually asked a girl out or kissed anyone and get exactly the kind of awkward anxiety that the main character does. (In my favor though is the fact that I get along very well with girls and have lots of female friends, so I'm not quite as out of it as Steve Carrell's character).
Okay, sorry for turning this post into a soul-baring. Just go see the movie. It's great.
ON EDIT: Aw, crap, I didn't see the OTHER 40-Year-Old Virgin thread. Sorry guys.

I wasn't all that impressed. It had funny parts, but I thought Wedding Crashers was MUCH funnier!

I admit not to having seen Wedding Crashers, but while most of the people I saw the movie with enjoyed Wedding Crashers, they said they enjoined 40-Year-Old Virgin better.
