Better half came back from the doctor today.... |
|
He's going to be off work another month!
OK, I know heart surgery is a scary thing (believe me, I've been fretting my brains out daily) but enough is enough! PLEASE doctor let him go back to work.
As a 3rd shifter let me tell you that having your SO home while you're trying to sleep is basically like saying you're not gonna sleep.
Another month.
WHINE.

1. Hehehe. Know that feeling. It's difficult to do anything when the SO is |
|
home unexpectedly. I am glad he is progressing. Will, it's so great to see you. I feel like I never see you anymore.
 Hope he is good as new soon!

3. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!?!?!?!?!? |
|
Sorry to hear your SO is having surgery, but that's no excuse for not showing up for so long! I had surgery in May and *I* still showed up....a week or so later....

They say no one reported me missing and that they couldn't help me.

7. What kind of heart surgery did he have? |
|
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 03:29 PM by supernova
Sorry to be dense, I guess I missed that.
My point is, if they have to saw open your sternum (as opposed to doing it through cardia cath) it takes 6-8 weeks to recover from this.
edit: Glad he's going well now though.

8. They split him stem to stern |
|
They trimmed the valve on his heart because it was too large. The doctor said it was a difficult surgery but they were able to save his valve (though it "came off" 3 times during the surgery).
