Urgent request.. Are Ft Mohave, AZ & laughlin NV on the same time?
I have a group staying at the Flamingo in Laughlin,NV this weekend, and our tournament is across the river in Bullhead City/Ft Mohave at 9:30 AZ time..

Is there an hour's difference?? I can"t have my people showing up an hour late for the tournament..

Help..

I looked onlinme, but I am afraid that MY computer settings might be "fixing" a time discrepancy:shrug:

1. Arizona doesn't do Daylight Savings Time as far as I know
So, the times should be the same in both places.

2. at this point, yes
AZ does not have daylight savings time so they are for all practical reasons, in the Pacific Time Zone. They are actually in the Rocky Mountain Time Zone, and will be an hour ahead of PST when daylight savings time ends.

3. Well, if I'm not mistaken, Arizona does NOT follow daylight savings time
and Nevada does follow it. So while daylight savings is in effect, there's an hour difference, when it's not in effect, there is no difference since they are in the same time zone.

Nevada is in the Pacific time zone and Arizona is in the Mountain time zone, but Arizona does not follow daylight savings time and Nevada does so there is no time difference.

You could also call their respective chambers of commerce to be sure.

5. I also know that many Rez's here observe daylight savings time
but i just looked it up and Fort Mojave is not one of them. It can get really confusing, The Navajo Nation observes daylight savings time, but the Hopi Nation (which is completely surrounded by the Navajo Nation) does not.

as the time in Ft. Mohave..
