Yes they will. The basic truth of the matter is that the party in power is held responsible of teh economy. If good, they get cudos. If not they get whacked

The economy is doing fine, except for the gas prices, and what's a democrat opponent going to do to offer a solution.

BTW, it wasn't the gas prices that did in Carter it was the gas lines(which there are none today).

My personal opinion, these high gas prices are a blessing in disguise, for they help promote alternative energy sources.

On that last sentence: :wtf: Alternative energy? Someone is not reading his Hannity-Brand talking points.

All bad before Reagan
Anything bad during Reagan is Carter's (FDR too) fault.
*
Anything good during Clinton is Reagan anything bad is instantaneous Clinton
Anything bad during Bush II is Clinton (with Carter and FDR sprinkled in when needed)

* Ignore Bush I

8. The economy is doing fine ..... my ass.

If the economy wasn't bad enough already, just wait till all goods and services reflect the increase in the fuel and energy expenses in what they sell. Of course they will find a way to point fingers at the Dems as usual.

9. Wow, what planet does this moran live on?
The economy is fine? And the high gas prices are promoting alternative energy sources? Where?

No doubt he remembers Bush's famous line about how he'd get OPEC to drop oil prices - I believe that was back when oil was about 30 bucks a barrel cheaper than it is now...
