mashed taters and gravy, and purple-hull peas!! Mmmm! That is what I am cooking for supper. I'll probably throw in some green beens or broccoli. I have to have a green veggie w/every meal.

I'm making a white-sauce lasagna with farmers-market veggies (pattypan squash, zucchini, carrot, spinach), and fresh mozzarella. I'm not working from a recipe at all, so wish me luck.
I'll also have a pot of soup on -- chicken with alphabet noodles, carrot, green beans, and maybe peas and/or corn, depending on what I've got on hand. Soup'll probably get stored 'til tomorrow, and frozen after that.

3. Yours sounds yummy too! Good luck! |

In the summer, I always buy my fruits and veggies fresh from the produce stand. It makes all of the difference. So my peas and broccoli or beans are fresh!!

Fresh veggies and fruits are always far superior to the ones in the crates at the supermarket. The best though, is fruit picked directly off the tree.

That's a classic combination. Ah! I will probably construct one of my award-winning sandwiches. No telling which one, though.

at my house. I have to keep my hubby well fed. He is the type that loses weight when he sleeps (lucky).
