First, You Cry...Anyone else remember this book?
I remember reading it when I was 12 (and far too young to read that kind of stuff emotionally) and then re reading it when I hit thirty. Another poster's thread made me think of it. I really think it is a wonderful, and one of the first, firsthand accounts of surviving breast cancer. And, to this day, Betty Rollin is beautiful. :hi:

1. I remember the book and Betty Rollin's
ongoing reports on breast cancer that she did for NBC Nightly News. And there was the TV movie with Mary Tyler Moore playing Rollins, but I did not see it.

3. I worked on the promotion for the book...
and wrote a commercial for Betty to narrate. I was very nervous. She was very nice.

5. Though I didn't see the movie, I remember that the reviews
were quite good of MTM's performance.
