So I've got the flu and I feel like my strength has been sucked outta me..
I know, another vanity post...
But I'm lonely, weak (typing this is hard), got a shiteload of work to due, and I want a hug (although, methinks even that would kill me at this point).
The onset of this was extremely rapid; I was heading down to starbucks with my biology book when I realized that, suddenly, my book seemed to weigh a ton...It was cold outside in Boston, but I started to shiver uncontrolably and felt like I wanted to crumple up and just sleep.
I studied for 4 hours (which was a mistake, as I felt myself growing weaker by the minute), and then had to trek all the way back to BC's campus.
I couldn't get warm in the shower, despite sitting in there for 30 minutes in scaling water.
I don't want to eat, for I feel like I won't be able to keep it down.
The world is spinning before me, and I feel like I'm just a husk.
Woo, college and the flu...hells yeah!
Pity me ;)

2. That's one of the things I'm glad hasn't happened to me
I don't know how I'd make it if I got the flu here at college. I can barely get myself through the day as it is. I have a problem staying awake, especially in the morning. No amount of caffiene seems to fase the drowzyness. If I got the flu I'd be in a world of trouble.

Good luck to you and I hope this is just of the 24 hour variety.

3. Regarding caffeine...
I can't stay awake in the morning either, and I drink coffee like it was the elixir of life (wait, it is). What I find that helps is to take lots of naps throughout the day..even closing your eyes for 15 minutes helps you feel better.
I hope you dont get the flu either- it friggin' sucks! :hi:
