One more Morford for the Road
Go Go Right-Wing Anti-Choice Crusaders For Sexless Misogyny Yay!
The BushCo government promised to defend a rather insipid new law banning certain late-term abortions, basically throwing a bone to the ultra-right-wing sociopathic Christian voters, despite rulings by three, count 'em three, federal judges who blocked its enforcement within a single day so legal challenges to the stupid little right-wing misogynistic law -- challenges which they concluded would likely succeed -- can go forward. Federal judges in New York and California blocked the law a day after it was signed by BushCo. The rulings likely prevent enforcement of the ban nationwide until a challenge to its constitutionality can be heard, which will then toss the stupid law into the heap of idiocy, but not until BushCo got its round of applause and another ten mil in campaign funds from pods of happy cheering hyper-Christian right-wing sexless drones who are working furiously, much like those mechanical spider slug thingies from The Matrix, to bore into the core of self-defini tion and sex and common goddamn sense and humanism and women's rights, just so they can inject their toxic snide little version of uptight Christian theology and hateful political profiteering into the cultural bloodstream like some sort of slow-moving anthrax. Whoa. Bitter.
