Frank Robinson Wants To Erase ALL Of Palmeiro's MLB Records

Nationals manager Frank Robinson has a simple solution for the debate about Rafael Palmeiro's place in history after his positive steroids test.

Robinson said Palmeiro's statistics should be erased.

The Hall of Famer told MLB.com that there's no way to go back through Palmeiro's career and figure out when he started using steroids. He said there's no reason to put the burden on baseball, so all of Palmeiro's statistics should be wiped out.

Palmeiro was suspended Aug. 1 after he recorded his 3,000th hit to become one of four players in Major League history with that many hits and at least 500 homers. His 569 homers rank ninth all-time.

Robinson said he was "surprised and taken aback" to learn that Palmeiro had tested positive for steroids.

Robinson, a member of the Hall of Fame, is sixth with 586 homers.

1. Why is this a big deal ?

Anyone who thought they weren't taking steroids, is clueless. They spend their offtime down in Mexico training, where they have access to many drugs and steroid prescriptions, easy to obtain and cheap to buy. It's like how right wingers deal with *'s stupidity, they know about it, but it isn't talked about.
