Dennis Kucinich gets married
The wedding report...........aka the scoop on the bride

http://www.cleveland.com/news/plaindealer/index.ssf?/base/cuyahoga/1124876150164630.xml&coll=2

(snip)
But veteran congressman or not, a marriage license is required to tie the knot, which the couple did Sunday before a crowd of about 200 outside Cleveland City Hall. How apropos that Kucinich spoke his vows where the boy mayor first cut his teeth in politics.

So here's what's on file in Room 146 of the Cuyahoga County Courthouse. The new Mrs. Kucinich was born Elizabeth Jane Harper. She is 27.

She is a consultant, and hails from Upminster, a town about 25 miles east of London. That's London, England, not London, Ohio. The house she lists as her home sits on a lane in an agricultural parish scattered around a 10th-century church, according to an e-mail from a town historian.

The following is NOT on the Kucinichs' license application, but gleaned from firsthand accounts and confirmed by the hard evidence of fresh wedding photos: The bride is a striking redhead, slender and tall, and tops her husband's trademark head of hair by several inches.

The story goes that the two met when the bride, an intern working nearby, stepped into the congressman's office to ask a question. Kucinich was stunned by her beauty and fell in love at first sight.
