Horror Fans Rejoice! Hammer Films is back in Business!
Following years of false starts, rumors, and Hollywood’s recent interest in all-horror production companies, Hammer Films is a breath’s away from resurrection according to Variety. The announcement, which was made in an article released Sunday morning (?!), claims that Hammer is going to exhume a number of titles for a modern overhaul. The studio also intends to reach out and scare audiences through a range of other outlets such as stage shows, video games, books, and toys – essentially marketing the shit out of this brand name.

14. D'oh!
Hmmmmm....

Just pick up any fliers that you see on upcoming horror cons. I'd like to fit one in my schedule soon. That would be awesome if you could do that for me.

3. I loved everything about the old Hammer horror films except one thing.
That horrible day-for-night device they used that made every night shot look like half-past six. Maybe modern technology will be good for a Hammer back from the grave!

6. All right!
I LOVE Hammer!!!

Back in the 70's, when I was 16, I had just started 'partaking' of the magick herb...I had gone to a concert, and bought some, and came home...I had never had any on me before, and got scared, so I ate all (good part of an oz!), and rolled a tiny little one. A half hour later, I did the little one, just in time for the Creature Double Feature, that day with "Dracula, Prince of Darkness" and "Dracula Has Risen From the Grave"...

I was one SCARED teenager that day...I was freaking on Christopher Lee's RED RED eyes...I then went in the bathroom, looked in the mirror, and my EYES WERE THE SAME COLOUR...

Fun memories :)

7. So do I.
Does this mean they're finally making a movie version of 'Hammer: Please don't hurt 'em'?

15. They must remake "Dr. Terror's House of Horrors"
With an all-star cast. They have to or there was no point in reviving the studio.
