Poll question: Which 'Babylon 5' empire would you want to be a part of?
(For khephra who mentioned something about B5 in another thread)

My apologies to the Abbai, Hyach, Ipsha, Markab and any other races I may have missed. Obviously I left out the Shadows, Vorlons and the other First Ones since they went beyond the Rim.

:sigh: I miss B5. :(

They are these bug people. They always have masks on though and sound really creepy when they talk. :)

This site has a bunch of pics of the various races. Dunno what language it's in.. but hey it's easy figure out. :D

I'm a Centauri. Don't hate me. I will, however, live to see your head on a pike.

It's always the fat, quiet ones that you have to watch out for!

8. I am Minbari
I am Grey Council, at least I wish I was. Minbari had it all figured out, at least for 1,000 years their race lived in peace amoung themselves. I miss B5 too, but I am so thankful that the Lurker's Guide is still on the Net.

There were three warring castes, which he pulled together when he formed the Grey Council (three from each caste forming nine, Worker, Warrior, Religious Caste). Since that time, and the Minbari have been in space for well over a thousand years, they have pretty much hewn to that rule..

As part of Valen's covenant, to prevent one caste from taking
over the other, each caste has access to its own warships. This was
done to create trust a thousand years ago, and since then, since there
hasn't been any conflict between Minbari, the three castes own their
own warships still, but in general are assigned to Warrior caste as a
courtesy, which can be revoked. As Delenn noted, the worker and
religious castes control 2/3rds of their forces.
