Would you ever get breast implants? |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-24-05 04:47 PM by Mrs. Sniffa
After seeing the Hugh post it made me wonder? It might be cool to defy gravity, but I don't think I could do it. Not that I really need it.

Even if I were flat as a pancake. I've had so much surgery, I'd never 'elect' to go under general anesthesia and the knife for that kind of cometic alteration

47. I would have the recon on the cancer side and a reduction on |
|
the non cancer side. NO WAY would I let them reconstruct MY boobs to their pre-surgery size.
Besides if I didn't do it that way I would walk slanted.

When I was younger, most of my friends had pretty good-sized breasts. I did not. Now that I am older, it's my turn to shine because while their breasts are "down to their knees," mine are well, almost "perky"....the irony

|
And probably not even then. I am not a fan of elective surgery - I can't see taking those risks (and all surgery is inherently risky) for vanity. Besides, I don't like the way fake boobs look - they LOOK fake. Mine aren't huge but they're perfect (if I do say so myself).

If I had nooo other bills, or things to pay for, and I had all the other stuff I wanted, I might give a thought to a breast lift. I don't need fake boobs, the ones I have are hard enough to put in a button down shirt thanks!

'Cause for me; its a business investment and I can write them off on my taxes. I can make enough with them to justify maintaining them. Yes; I have done my research and after a two year (with only two exceptions) hiatus from my job I still want them. Gonna do it.Flame away.

You can only write it off the year you get it; but hey; that's between $3000-$8000 depending on surgeon/procedure. 'S what I'm talking about. Never said I was above making money on my body; to me it is part of my feminisim. Many do not agree; though....thanks for reading.

44. I pretty much agree - what you do with your body is your business |
|
And if you can make $ off it, I don't see the problem. Especially since I know that most bodies that are able to have money made off of them are really, really, really hard work to gain/maintain. It's no coincidence that the fittest looking women are at the gym every day.
Actually, I thought a good implant job was more expensive than that. I wonder how you shop around for one. Lordy knows the last thing anyone would want would be a bad boob job! If there's anything that's worth spending more on, it'd be that - and open heart surgery.

I've worked so hard to get the weight off, and I'm enjoying being smaller than I have been in years...
No way I'd ever want to go back to being big...the weight, the stress on your shoulders, trying to get tops that actually FIT...
NO WAY... :kick:

|
I know my wife felt "deflated" after finishing the ol' breast feeding with our first child. And feeling deflated might kinda suck. Kid #2 is our last to be sure (barring some unforseen incident), so who knows...
If I was a woman it would kinda depend you know, on how things had worked out for me and what I wanted. At one point I woulda thought they were lame-o-delxu0rez, but now, f*ck it, it's my body, I'll do what I want.
That said, I'm not a woman.

33. Well, I'd get one. Or is that a "pec implant" on a guy? |
|
Whatever you call it, I need one on the left side. There's very little pectoral muscle over there, and lots of it on the right side.
A real small breast implant would make the left side look like the right side.

I don't like the idea of something plastic in my body. Plus, I'm a 34c so don't think I need them. While I haven't had any complaints I'm sure many guys would want much bigger...and if there are, well...I don't really care ;)

I hope you don't get it(cancer) either, LynneSin! :hi:
I think it's wonderful and amazing that there are more reconstructive options for women than there were many years ago, in the event of breast cancer.
I like having small breasts--don't really want to change that right now.
I have nothing against women doing it--FOR THEMSELVES...;)
