I'm so tired of the heat here in East Texas. I don't know how I made it as a child only having a fan to get by on. The older I get the worst the heat. And guess what? Yup it's going to be this way all week loooong. My electric bill was only $266.66 last month. I can't wait until mid October when it starts to cool off.
So what' the weather like in your neck of the woods.

3. high temp was 68 F today, 60 percent humidity, gloriously sunny...
...all day. Overnight lows usually in the low 50's. Subtract 10-15 degrees for winter temps.

This time of year is always an adjustment for us townies. We forget over the summer just how many students there are. Right now all the stores are just crazy!

:hi:

On edit: I hope your sister has a great year here!

14. In southeast Bama the heat index has been
around 110 for over a week. Probably be that high for another few weeks at least, and hot at least till Nov.
My elec is not that high, thank Gawd! We wouldn't have any a/c lol. My bill did go up 30 bucks this month which had me fuming of course, even tho I expected it. :P

15. 8 PM in Fort Worth: 96 degrees, 38% humidity. Feels like 96
so I guess 38% humidity is heat index neutral.

It topped 100 today. Again.

It might get down to 77 before dawn.

17. It has been ridiculously hot here as well.
And not a drop of rain or rumble of thunder despite the fact they've been forcasting thunderstorms every day for the past 5 days. They'll come marching across the radar and fizzle out right before they reach where I live. They've also been forcasting a cool down, and that has yet to happen.
