It's still August, but it's 60 degrees outside tonight and only

30 percent humidity. I can smell a touch of woodsmoke in the air because one of the neighbors has a fire going in their fireplace.

I'm in GA and it's hot, sticky, and still in the 80's at this late hour. We won't really get our first taste of autumn until about October.:eyes:

2. I'm in Connecticut. Come on up, but make it quick,

because we're supposed to go back to the normal-August miseries next week.

We did actually have two weeks of that horrible not-even-any-relief-at-night weather at the beginning of the month.

But there's a few days of reprieve right now. Better hurry on up, or you'll miss it.

6. i'd love to visit Conneticut. I've heard how beautiful the change of

season is there... maybe one day...until then, I baste in the heat of "hotlanta".

3. We have been in the 70s and low 80s this week (high temps)

It has been delightful.

I was outside Sunday night and felt that touch of chill in the air that tells me winter will be coming soon.
