He's a catcher also, right? It would be great if he could develop to be Piazza's successor. The sheer number of youthful raw talent excites me. As it stands tonight the Mets have 4 players born after 1980 in the line-up and they are all smacking the hell out of the ball.

he is a catcher by trade and has been switched to first. i've heard some reports on the fan saying he isn't ever-day player material. we'll have to wait and see
