Stewart is doing the Pat Robertson story, and he says that one spin on the story from the right wing is to dismiss the messenger, Pat Robertson.
Stewart then cuts to a August 22, 2005 Brit Hume clip where Mort Kondracke, a female pundit, and Charles Krauthammer go on and on about how irrelevant Pat Robertson is. How Robertson doesn't represent conservatives. How the media put him on because they know that he will say something crazy, and how his day has passed.
Cut Back to Stewart in the studio where he agrees that it's all a giant Liberal media conspiracy to put on an irrelevent Pat Robertson.
Quick cut to an August 15, 2005 "Hannity and Colmes" clip where Hannity warmly welcomes Robertson to his show.
I can't really do the comedy justice in a post, but it was sooo good that I almost had an orgasm over it.
