3. It's a quiet morning, smarty-pants.

Ginger was gone all night, and Mr. Heidi reported when he came to bed that Ginger was last seen chasing a mouse in the garden. This morning, while coffee was brewing, I went out to scout around for A) Ginger; B) dead mice.

I found Ginger in my mother-in-law's garden, eagerly coralling the cement base of her patio umbrella. This _always_ means that his prey is beneath, so I rallied all my strength and moved the umbrella stand, to allow the giant field mouse to escape.

It's probably a good thing the mouse got away, as it looked to be about the same size as Ginger. :scared:

5. OOOH
Not good when the rodent we are chasing is as large as we are!

I figured you would get a great chuckle out of this thread...I was thinking of you and your feline friends with love...

I miss my feline friend...she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in March...

I will likely get a new kitten in a few months.

6. You're a wonderful woman, KW.
Have you considered a bengal cat as a future companion? Yes, they're really this big, and we're considering adopting one as a little brother for Ginger. The area wildlife would be safer if Ginger had a companion.

7. I have always loved big cats
Tinky was huge for a "British Shorthair" mix.
