And poor Carlos. Every time he starts we get shut out. You cannot pitch better and have a worse record than poor Mr. Silva.

8. Why isn't Silva ahead of Mays in the rotation
Granted I am not a Gardy basher usually, but Silva is a better pitcher...Mays is still working out the Tommy John arm.

9. No idea why Mays is before Silva
He WAS pitching well during spring and early May, but he certainly reached a dead point this year. Maybe next year he'll be able to work his arm into full season shape. That is, of course, if he's still around. THey've been shopping him around all year.

10. News on the Mays front
Mays is out of the rotation and they are calling Baker up from Rochester. I do not know if they sent Mays down or not.
