I'll be there for the rally next month.

My daughter went to AU -- she graduated in '99 -- and stayed there until last December. She's in Florida now. I wish she would have stayed in DC -- it's my favorite city to visit outside of Michigan (Annn Arbor is my favorite city in Michigah). The weather was also a lot safer than Florida. These hurricanes make me very nervous.

Started grad school in florida though - UF in Gainesville. Right smack dab in the middle and relatively safe. Hope Katrina's keeping her hands off :hug:

I'm only sad I never visited the UP :sigh:

This is the modern shield - it only dates from the 19th century I think. There is a university seal which is older, but I can't see it around on the web-site, and the only copy I have is on another computer.

Knox is a very small school, but I can't get away from Knox people no matter where I go.

I have LOADS of school pride, tho, and most Knox people are great. Still great friends with many old classmates.
