South Florida DUers...How is it going with the hurricane?

I'm in the Keys and we are getting rain and wind but so far we're riding pretty steady on the boat. Hope you all are ok.

3. I am w/ friends in Aventura.... Trees down. Electricity on and off and on

Tv still on though I hear many dont have cable/electricity. Water creeping in through sliding glass windows, despite towels jammed in cracks. Windows rattling. Costco pizza in oven.

4. The news is coming in that Key Biscayne got hurt bad...

lady just on tv from the marina said that most of the boats are destroyed. We're not far from there, but we're not getting hit that badly.

9. We've been getting a few bands from it today

All the way over in Tampa Bay. I guess we'll start getting the bad stuff tomorrow night. My Brother in Law has a place in Boca, but he's out of town for the month. I wonder how his place is doing.

We're starting to get a band now, so I'm going to grab some flashlights. Boat is still holding steady at this point.

11. In West Palm Beach

A lot of wind and rain, nothing compared to last year's experience when I thought the house was going to blow down. As long as we have power, it's cool! (Literally as well.)
