Lobster's shell saves it from pot

A lobster from the English Channel is admired for its unusual light blue markings. The rare “Wedgwood blue” lobster, thought to be a partial albino, was caught 30 miles off the Devon coast. It is being kept for observation in a tank in Teignmouth, Devon.

Derek Clifton, of the Environment Agency, said: “It is a European lobster. It is like a Wedgwood blue. They are usually dark blue to black.

“We are holding on to him to see what happens when he sheds his shell.”

1. I was at Red Lobster the other day
I was filling out an ap and while waiting to talk to a manager, I was looking at the lobster tank.

Many of the doomed were just lying there, but in the center was a huge badass lobster who raised his tethered claws in defiance. He wanted to get me if I came anywhere near him.

I admired him and felt so sad for him, because he was soon to be someone's dinner. I knew right then I would hate working for these people. My imagination was too vivid. I could hear the future screams of these creatures being tossed live into the boil pot and it made me ill.

4. I know, every time I am in the seafood section
of the grocery store, I look into the lobster tank and feel so sorry for them. I could never go pick out one to eat. I just could never do it. Poor little lobsters. (I am not a vegetarian, but seeing something alive first makes it hard to eat it, especially when you cook it alive)

5. I haven't eaten many lobsters...
but I sure love their cousins, the crawfish.
