3. Now all you need
are the vertical striped socks to go along with the helmet

Useless bit of trivia: When the league formed in 1960, the four teams in its Western Division were the LA Chargers, Dallas Texans, Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos. When the NFL realigned in 2002, the very same four franchises comprised the AFC West (the Chargers having moved to San Diego and the Texans to Kansas City and becoming the Chiefs in the early 60s.)

5. The 1963 AFL Champions...*drum roll*
The San Diego Chargers! They killed the Boston Patriots 51-10 in that game. :P

They started in Los Angeles the charter year of the AFL in 1960, then moved to San Diego the following year.

Rumors persist they will eventually move back to L.A., which is fine by me, if only because home games will be much easier to see. :D

But if they stay in S.D., that is great too. Keep a team in my hometown.

The BEST uniforms in pro football history:

6. I'd go so far as to say that those are the 2nd best unis in history.
Especially when you see the lightning bolts down the sides of the pants.

The best? Why, the Bears. Of course.

7. I love Da Bears
My favorite NFC team. Chicago is my favorite American city not on the west coast.
