I hate being cold in august. I don't even think it's crossed 80, yet air conditioners are blasting like crazy, so I'm getting sick. :mad:

it's true, sometimes it is too cold here, especially in June. The TV ads with people swimming and on beaches and needing cold beverages are like a joke.

It will take until December for the earth's crust to cool to the point where it no longer radiates heat 24 hours a day.
When I walked outside at 5 a.m. to go to work the other day it was 90° and humid.
It is 102° here (Houston) right now.

side of the Metroplex. 2 in the MORNING!!
It just never cools down at night here.
The official (DFW Airport weatherstation) for today was 101 but I know it was hotter in other parts of the 'plex.
Scattered showers are possible for the next two days...please rain, please please rain.
