Very emotional today, need to escape into music... |
|
When you are feeling very emotional, missing someone, longing for them, gut twisted and lovesick, and just plain flayed open, emotionally raw and exposed, what music do you turn to?
Today I am listening to Roxy Music's Avalon...
I feel torn apart...

I hate that feeling! Hang on, it will pass. There is so much good music to express any mood, I just hit scan on the radio and the perfect song soon appears.

Folk and acoustic does calm me down.
But I've been listening to the Indigo Girls WAY TOO MUCH this week. :D

It's my comfort music for pretty much every sort of anguish. It's so symphonic and beautiful and the lyrics comfort me (I know some people find the lyrics depressing but for me, I find comfort in the idea of knowing I'm not alone).
