the first several weeks are the hardest...which is where you're at right now. I don't envy you that place in time. I hope the remaining days fly by for you.

Best advice? Stay busy...and yes, I know how lame that is- but it does help.

worst thing is she can only call me once a week for an hour.

8. Yes. That part is hardest. You save up things to tell them

and you want to hear about their days, but there is just so much to say and so little time to say it.

Sometimes, the phone calls were more painful than the silence. Saying goodbye with so much left to say sucks.

one year and left my husband behind for a week. We both had a great time, though it was hard to leave him at first.
