6. No, but Kurt Vonnegut said... |
|
"If you want to dissapoint your parents and don't have the guts to be a homosexual, get into the arts." But I'm not good at art...

Let's see, today's Saturday. Time for lots of good karma to come your way between now and Thursday and that's just the beginning.

9. There are many people who are gay and survive because |
|
they are true to themselves. Think Barney Frank, one of the greatest. he is wonderful and Elsie his mother was there for him all the way, god bless her soul. I admired her and respected her so much. She showed me that there is a life after your partner has gone. Just pick your self up and make a new life. I wish everyone in the US could have known her. Our last conversation was about getting out every day and doing something. Make your mom understand. I know she will.

14. My parents took it hard at first but before long we were able to |
|
talk about it and they saw that I was really the same person they knew before they found out. They had to adjust their ideas about homosexuality. (They had some whack ideas.)
I gave them some time to work on it because I had spent a lot of time working on it myself.
Love wins out. It sounds corny but it's true.
Good luck!

your kind words help to strengthen my resolve. But if you will excuse me, I hunger. For food. To eat.
