7. When did I defend communism?
Edited on Sat Aug-27-05 09:29 PM by jim3775
Please, since you know better than I do, indicate where I defended communist dictatorships.

Aslo, please tell me when I wrote that a communist dictatorship is preferable to democracy.

My memory must be failing me because i don't remember writing anything even close to that.

5. It's weird because the other day someone posted a pro-communist thread...
...and there seemed to be many more people who agreed with it. It's like, whoever starts the thread gets their adherents replying, and the rest just move along.

For the record, communism doesn't work.

12. So you've read the communist manifesto and are familiar with it
outside of military economies? Or you just know that communism is bad, capitalism is good?

14. Yes, I have a copy of it right here.
The modern bourgeois society that has sprouted from the ruins of deudal society has not done away with class antagonisms. It has only established new classes, new conditions of oppression, new forms of struggle in place of the old ones.

Etcetera, etcetera.

15. Also, that's another false opposition.
Just because a lot of people who don't know much about it think it's bad, doesn't mean that someone who does know about it won't think it's bad.

11. But you see comrade, the people's revolutionary spirit will
never be defeated. It will once again rise to defeat the imperialist warmongering capitalists who seek to oppress us.

25. Yeah, we try.
It's not entertaining in the style of the lounge but a lot of us who post in GD as well are trying to make a difference, even if keeping each other informed and engaged.
