It shouldn't take more than an ounce of common sense to ascertain that the spelling skills on DU are self-evidently anti-thetical to the notion that 'moran' is a misspelling. Equipped with that ounce, without an offsetting tonnage of arrogance, one would naturally look around and see the oft-cited explanation ... or merely ask (as soooo many do) what the inside joke is.

To start two threads, especially since it's been asked/answered at least a half-doxen times in the last 2-3 days, seems deliberately and consciously disruptive, imho.
