i've read some of his other stuff, but i prefer SF and fantasy when comes to fiction. his Hyperion/Endymion stuff blew me away, he understood the future of the internet in 1985.

good SF/fantasy. 90 per cent of it is dreck. but i found the new DS stuff and i see Donaldson has a new 'Land' novel out. my reading is starting to back up on me...
