1. It would be a perfect President/VP choice for the dems in 2008
but I am quite confident the democrats will not allow it to happen, and will self destruct

If Clark becomes the Democratic nominee for President, He should select Wisconsin US Senator Russ Feingold as his Vice Presidential runningmate. Feingold is a progressive Liberal Democrat from Wisconsin- industrial midwestern State. Most of the Feingold Supporters are backing Howard Dean. Feingold will close the gap between Dean wing of the Democratic Party(Progressive Liberals) and the Clinton wing of the Democratic Party(Centrist Moderates). Russ Feingold and Wesley Clark are both Rhodes Scholars for Oxford University. Feingold and Clark will energize the Jewish electorate for message board. The Clark-Feingold ticket will appeal to the McCain supporters and strenghthen the Democratic Parties standing on National security and values.

Clark-Feingold ticket can win all the gore states plus Arkansas- Clark's home state, and West Virginia. state Dukakis carried in 1988. and state clinton won in 1992 and 1996- Gore narrowly lost WV in 2000. Clark-Feingold ticket can win states like Lousiana-which are a strong French Catholic and Black population. Florida( South Florida has a strong Jewish populaton- favoring Clark-Feingold) Clark-military background can help him in Central Florida). And New Hampshire- a Swing state in the North East.

AND THE REPLY....

If Clark becomes the Democratic nominee for President,...

Many of us will for the first time, stay home. The policies of Nixon and Reagan were not acceptable to me back then and I will be damned if I'm going to support them now merely because GWB is more effective at being extreme. I will also stay home because it should put the final nail in the DLC coffin.
