I am speechless
I just got a call from my ex-bf, aka MrLiar. First I didn't even know who he was. He told me bullshit about that he wanted to call me again but didn't had the courage before, that he misses me ... when I asked him about the money (which he still hasn't paid back), he told me to give him time, he would pay it back. I will see. And the great part - I am not upset now, amazed that he dared to call but his call left me cold.

3. Sounds obvious to me
He's ashamed of himself for his poor behavior, and he probably does miss you.

You can relax at least a little, I guess. Most of the time, anyway, this is a good sign, although your actual experience is what's important. Good luck.

4. more likely he got ditched by his other gf finally
and tries it with me again. No thank you. I really doubt he is ashamed of his actions.

7. Please, don't get me wrong ...
... I'm not suggesting you reunite with him.

I just think that if there is unfinished business between you -- like the money he owes you -- it will be easier to deal with than if he was angry and vindictive.

I'm not sure what he did, but if he's not worth taking back, don't even consider it. But if he's feeling bad about things, you might as well use it to your best advantage to put things right.

9. well, I asked him about the money
he told me to give him time, he would pay it back. I told him how much I trusted him when I gave it to him and he said he is really sorry - but shortly after he said he had to go and that indicates to me that he was just bullshitting me again.

What he did? He had a second gf at the same time he was together with me, he even told me he had to go on a 6 months business trip out of the country when he was home the whole time (he lives in another town than I). He lied to me from day one and when I found out he still kept lying.

5. Good luck. I hope you collect what he owes you,
and then you can have him out of your life for good.

6. he is out of my life already
I never had the urge to call him and talk to him. He screwed up so totally, there is NO way I would even consider taking him back. About the money, well, it would be nice to get it back but if I don't - it is "only" money. I am not going to rise a riot over it. Too much trouble. He is not worth it.

15. I understand. Good for you!
I'd hate for him to continue to call you because he owes you money under the pretense that he is still planning on repaying you.

10. and in the beginning I wasn't 100% sure it was him
so I was nice on the phone. But when he asked if my mom was mad at him I knew for sure it was him. Then my voice got a bit colder. But I am just amazed that he dared to call but I am not getting depressed or anything.

11. Isn't this always the case
bad boyfriends are like bad pennies - you can't seem to get rid of them!

By the way, I seriously doubt you'll ever get repaid for the loan.
