'Straight Plan for the Gay Man'
Comedy Central is planning to turn the make-over hit "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" upside down with a new show called "Straight Plan for the Gay Man."

Debuting in February, the new show will parody the Bravo channel's "Queer Eye" series and male stereotypes in general as a team of straight comedians -- the "Flab 4" -- teaches a succession of gay men how to pass as heterosexuals.

The make-overs include lessons in such areas as spartan home decorating, oafish manners, less-than-fashionable wardrobes, and an overdeveloped ego to mask all personal failings,

Sounds to me like the straight guys are the ones that are being parodied. I'd like to see what kind of woman they're gonna set them up with, after those lifestyle leasons.

1. Fighting stereotypes with stereotypes.
Why not add in, for good measure, how teaming up men with women will keep the men from getting AIDS. x(

2. duh...
As a way-queer gay dude, I was stupified at the stupidity of the first series of Bravo programming. This sounds even dumber...count me out!

3. Checkin' the HACK FAQ
"Can you say 'Hack'?"
"Hack? What's up with that?"
"Think 'Hack'"
"I can't believe I ate the whole Hack!"
"It's a Hack thang, you wouldn't understand."
"Is it just me, or is this Hack?"
"Hack comedy? Hello-oh!"
"W-W-W-dot-Hack!-dot-com"
"Oh, Lu-cy! You gots a lot o' 'splainin' to Hack!"

SECTION 9: HOW TO TELL IF A TOPIC WILL BE HACK BEFORE IT IS

Any news story which allows a hack comic to cover a controversial subject by saying "hey, I just saw this on the news..." will be done to death within two weeks.

Look out for any news story dealing with genitalia (Viagra, the Lewinsky scandal,) gruesome murder (OJ, Dahmer,) bodily mutilation (Bobbitt, Harding/Kerrigan,) or any other taboo subject.

Also, be on the lookout for innocuous news stories where the joke is obvious: Dan Quayle jokes were already rampant when the "potatoe" story broke.

I would have posted The Whole Thing, however ...
