ALL DAY LIPSTICK is a MUST-have for ANY woman who wears |
|
lipstick.
After you've tried it, you'll wonder how in HECK you ever put up with smearing greasy crap all over your lips 20 times a day.
Try Cover Girl or Revlon, make sure you use the glosser a couple times a day, and you too will have all-day (or all night?) lipstick, through meals, smooching, imbibing beverages at the nightclub, etc.
Tawk about life changing! The stuff costs about $10.00 in regular drugstore cosmetic counters, higher priced stuff in the fancy schmancy department stores.
You HAVE to try it.
Imagine wearing that "arrest me red" all evening long, through a lovely dinner, with NO lipstick schmeers all over your wine glass, on a coffee cup or on your fella's collar! Now that's what I call liberating!

1. EXCELLENT stuff....I prefer the Max Factor brand |
|
Lipfinity....how did I ever live without this stuff!?!!
I've tried the other two brands, and greatly prefer this one. The Cover Girl isn't bad, though.

How do you get the stuff off of your lips at the end of the evening? It sounds like NUTHIN' makes that stuff come off...

6. Any oil-based makeup remover works just fine.... |
|
The oil-and-water kind you can get at the department stores (Bifacil is the Lancome brand), Almay's remover in the clear pink bottle, or good old baby oil or cold cream.

5. Do any of them have fragrance or taste. I use Clinique and Almay because |
|

they are allergy friendly. Nothing worse than having to taste some perfume all day that makes me break out. Which Max Factor is good.....and does it have fragrance? If it doesn't I might try it.

9. lipfinity etc. sometimes given out for free |
|
Every month I check for the "free-bates" at the local drug stores. Quite often Walgreens, Eckerd's, or Walgreens will offer free full sized long-lasting lipsticks. You have to buy the lipstick and send in for a rebate. No lipsticks this month. It seems to come in waves. I'm just glad I didn't pay for them because I would have been really crushed if I'd bought 15 different lipsticks and not one of them lasted longer than an hour...at the very most.

8. I've tried em all.. they don't work, you know |
|
So I only have to touch up once an hour instead of every 20 minutes but they certainly don't last through meals or any of that. I've tried Lipfinity, I've tried them all. It makes no difference. Is there something else you're doing?
I've already tried the put on hydrocortosine first, then put on foundation, THEN put on the long-lasting lipstick. It still flakes off though. And you're really only supposed to put the hydrocortisone on your lips once a day, so what good is that?
Still waiting for my life to be changed...

12. geez....maybe you shouldn't put anything on your lips first |
|
I've used lipfinity religiously for almost two years now, and have never had a problem with it flaking (unless I wear it long past my usual 10-to-12-hour day, and then only just a little).
The stuff just doesn't come off at all, which is why it requires an oil-based makeup remover to get it off. All I do is put on the color (no foundation or anything first), let it dry for about 30 seconds, then put on the gloss coat.
The stuff has been truly miraculous for me (because I have always had a tendency to lick/chew off my lipstick previously). My sister has the same success with it.

10. a little off-topic, but |
|
did you know that "lipstick" is a euphemism for the "red rocket," or dog penis? Just thought I'd share.

11. I tried one, I think a Lipfinity, and it made my lips so dry (even with |
|
the glosser) that I couldn't stand it. Are any of the other brands better in that respect?
I hate makeup but wear a touch of it for work and would love to not do the damn lipstick thing every half hour.

14. It is drier than the regular lipsticks we're used to, so it takes getting |
|
used to the different feeling.
Patience!

I tried it and went back to the old fashioned stuff. Christian Dior has great lipsticks that last a long time (their plastiques - which I love!!!)

Makes my lips feel like they've been sucking on sandpaper all day.
Also, they tend not to make it in colors like "Eclipse" "Crimson Death" or "Consumption Blue"...the stuff I like.
To each her own, I guess.

great colors and long lasting. Since I live in the north, and suffer from dry skin, I use Chapstick as a base. It works for me. Also Lancomme has no scent or taste.
