1. I liked him in Jungle Fever.
Actually, I like him in just about every role, but that one really stood out for me.

4. The guy is like the ULTIMATE character actor for this generation.
The Robert Duvall of the 90's and 2000's, except with more in your face intensity.

3. OTHER: Al Fountain in "Box of Moonlight"
We love that movie here at our house.

And Sam Rockwell was very cool, also.

5. I thought that "Bernie" as well as "Gaspar", were the real stars in
Millers Crossing. But I din't realize until now, that he was also "Jesus" in the Big Lebowski. For an actor in a lesser role, he came close to being a major actor there too.

6. Yeah that is something--take a tiny role like the Jesus and it spices up
the movie in a HUGE way.

17. Unfortunately I just saw 'Fear X' last night.
Not such a great movie. But I can forgive him because he is such a great actor.

18. For every "The Conversation" or "The Godfather" that the Duvalls and
Hackmans have been in, they've been in a billion crap movies too, heh. Although they usually didn't make those movies worse. Michael Caine another example of a hard workin' actor who has made a ton of great movies and two tons of crap.

Turturro's quality to crap ratio has been extremely high, for a guy who works pretty steadily.

24. You remember Cody, right?
He was an informant who was in jail, had William L. Peterson escort him to his "dying mother"'s bedside, and when Petersen took the cuffs off, Turturro whaled on him.

26. I think it was sister, but the story was so bogus, the Peterson cop was
a total chump to fall for it. The running chase through the airport was well done too.
