Senior citizen accused of killing ex-husband, cutting genitals

BELLEVILLE, Ill. -- A 65-year-old woman has been indicted on first degree murder and aggravated domestic battery charges after allegedly beating her live-in former husband to death and severing his genitalia, authorities said.

Belleville Police Lt. Roger Barfield declined to comment on whether the sexual mutilation occurred before or after the man's death. AP
