Freepers still buzzing about 'Memogate'
Honestly, this so called Memogate is the biggest non-issue I have ever seen. The FReepers are calling it 'treason'. I think the GOP attempted to get the heat off Bush by making it look like all critiscm of Bush was created by plotting Democrats.
I do not see anything unethical about memogate. It was a memo saying that the Dems were going to try to get Congressional GOP to help get inside dirt on Bush out. Partisan politics, nothing more. Sean Hannity got a hold of a memo from a trash bin (they were rooting through trash! Bums) and attempted to make a new scandal( revenge for the Novak leak thing?), but aside from a few hardcore FReepers, no one has noticed. I looked in today's Washington Post--no mention. Even FOX news didn't mention it.
Go to FReerepublic and they still are posting rants, form letters to congress etc.
It is surreal.

1. Aw, we've got to fake a scandal to keep 'em going.
Might be quite fun to spread some slander about one of ours over there and see how far they'd take it, then pull the rug.

2. it's ALL THEY HAVE!
poor pathetic bastards

expect more of this molehill-to-mountain nonsense as 11/04 looms closer. Notice they have nothing to say about the memo's implication: the Bush Admin is WITHOLDING INFORMATION ON 9/11 THAT COULD HELP PREVENT FUTURE ATTACKS

that's ok, to them. what's not ok is mentioning it :eyes:

3. Invented in the demented mind of Sean Hannity
News outlets saw a stinker.

Congress, except for Frist saw a stinker.

Freeps just don't get it.

7. my take on this:
I think what we're seeing is desperation by KKKarl. Evidence is the fact that they're using Hannity and not someone with credibility. Nobody with any real credibility, even if right-leaning, would take this.

12. True
I've read the memo over and over again, and there is nothing inflammatory about it.

If anything, Hannity should be arrested for receiving stolen property.

8. Fox news has instructed them...
..to become outraged over this 'memogate.' The Freepers are merely demonstrating their fealty to fairness and balance.

16. They LOVE Zell Miller now
Hannity loves to quote Miller on his show. His articles are showing up on FReerepublic.
This asshole has given the GOP a lot of ammunition. Unfortunately, there are many people who do not know who this fu--er is, so when they see the news and a little D beside his name, they will think he is legit.
God damn i HATE zELL mILLER.
