it looks like it's been bombed out, just totally razed. I lived in Biloxi in 1975 and I don't really recognize the place. Back then in between the gulf and I-10 was just a wide sandy beach, because all structures had been washed away earlier due to Camille. That storm they hadn't completely recovered from after six years, and this is much, much worse.:cry:

I am forwarding this to my neighbor. Her family lives in Gulfport, about 7 miles north of the beach. She hasn't been able to reach anyone by cell or land line since very early on Mon. morning. (We are in California).

Not just the casinos, but holy cow...all the damned businesses. What are people going to do for work?

It is just amazing how that casino was put on top of the hotel, and another just moved to the highway.
