It's a fantastic episode, as is the next one where his ex-lover's husband gets sick.

TV Guide has a great article on House and interview with Hugh Laurie. I don't remember what week. HL had been making guest appearances on MI-5, the British spy series. He played a director at MI-6, and he was equally caustic and demeaning.

In my humble opinion. I can't wait until the new season starts.

Incidentally, my girlfriend, a fellow HOUSE fanatic, has a problem: she has class on Tuesday nights, and so will miss House. She has no VCR, doesn't know anyone who can tape it for her, and can't download it because her college has cleverly prevented most forms of p2p from using the network. Any suggestions?

This show's next season is going to be great, I bet. Just that one show of him teaching was one of the best tv programs I've ever seen.

I love the way they use music also. One of my favorite scenes is House in his home, listening to "You Can't ALways Get What You Want", trying to take a step without his cane, and tossing a pill into the air and the camera getting that closeup of him taking it in.
