On MSNBC, Tucker Carlson was talking to some guy in NO who use to work as a tour guide. Aside from saying that he made a "colossal mistake" staying in NO, he also said he saw a "3ft long shark swimming down the interstate".

My guess is that an alligator could totally take a 3ft long shark, but if the shark is the size of the sharks we all fear because of the movie Jaws, then no.

If evenly sized and aggressive, I give it to the shark. The water is the shark's only home, whereas the gator is specialized.

However, that being said, if that shark is completely idiotic to the point of self destruction, then no, size doesn't matter. It's a vital mix...size, AND knowing how to use it.
