Man, I CAN'T WAIT FO RHOCKEY TO BEGIN

Tonight I was listening to some sound clips from the Vancouver Canucks valiant 94 cup drive. And, the fact that so much of it choked me up, reminded me of how much I missed hockey... growing up in soviet canuckistan, it has been such a major part of life that I feel as though some of me has been a little lost for lack of it.

Anyway, the sound clips made me choke up and sent chills up my spine...listen to em here.

My favs are game Six's final mintue/20secs and Greg Adams sending the canucks to the final. Just to hear the crowd and know that back then, it was the true hockey fans in Vancouver.... blue collar, and hardcore, that were making that noise.
It, at the time, felt like we couldnt lose, fate was on our side, the clips convey that. Though every playoffs, pretty well every Vancouver fan says we will win due to fate's schedule.
Fuck, I had friends at game six who swear they couldn't hear for three days.
Vancouver deserves a cup more than any city.
