Let us now discuss-"The Exorcism of Emily Rose"
Okay if the movie is anything like those damned commercials I am going to see that movie on pay-per-view in the daylight with my back in a corner of the rec room, holding a cross of some kind.

:scared:

Good lord that is one scarey commercial (the faces YIKES!) and from the one review below it appears to be just that good.

Based on true events-actually the trial of the priest who did the exorcism. The exorcism is covered in courtroom flashbacks.

1. It looks good
I haven't gone to a movie in a good ten years, but maybe I might break down and pay the 50 bucks or whatever it is now.

4. Me either
Im not much of a movie watcher in the summer. My friend usually
downloads them from the internet and catch up on them in the winter.

When I hear everyone raving about one in the D.U. then i tell him
to download it and watch it at home.

2. Could be good - if you want a quick summary of the true story from
which the movie is derived, look here: http://www.moviesonline.ca/movienews_1253.html

3. I'm suspicious.
To paraphrase Harvey Keitel in Bad Lieutenant, I've just seen so many bad movies.

7. Likewise
I hope it's good, but my expectations aren't high.

5. I refuse to see it....
I get really freaked out at that kind of stuff, and even the ads for this one are really, really hard for me to watch. NO WAY I could sit through the whole thing :scared:

8. I'm really looking forward to that one.
I mostly just rent movies nowadays, but that one I'd like to go to the theater for.

I'm excited that there's not been much hype... too much hype always makes me suspicious. Then again, maybe I've been too busy to notice any hype.

9. Aside from the joke I don't think this is a "theater" movie
even if we didn't have the baby.

I will only go to see BIG BIG movies in the theater-War of the Worlds would qualify as would the newest Star Wars (pregnancy prevented us from seeing either)....basically it needs big essplosions and/or aliens with lasers-those are the criteria it seems.

12. Yeah... I hear ya.
I usually reserve the theater for special effects. But for me, seeing the scary images large and with really loud sound is something I'm definitely up for.

10. Oh gosh, that looks scary!
We've been saying "WE HAVE TO SEE THAT MOVIE!" for weeks! The guy whose eyes suddenly turn into Billie Joe Armstrong's on steroids makes it worth the price of admission itself!

11. I can't wait.
Of course, when I saw "The Excorcist" back in the old days, it took me forever to get over it.
