Can I ask a question about "meme"? |
|
I hope this is not a stupid question, but I see the word "meme" used here in DU occasionally and don't understand how it is being used...I know the word as a French word meaning "same", or "in the same way", or "as well as"....For instance "meme chose" in French means "same thing"....Can someone explain to me how you mean it in DU?.....Thanx!

Something to make a thought stick in peoples' minds. Just as "spring forward, fall back" is a meme for helping one remember which way to put the clocks when the daylight saving time starts/ends.
