3. You mean the "/" at the end of "webstandards.org/"?
If that's true, you've got to be kidding me - that would be some bunk HTML code. That "extra slash" tells the site's server to search for the default "index.html" file of the domain. If that slash isn't added, then the server will try to retrieve webstandards.org as a file rather than a directory.

7. Oh wait,
in that case, it looked like you had a space between the rest of the URL and the slash. That can't be right, can it? I see it's different now anyway.

12. For some reason DU puts that space there sometimes...
Ironically, it seems as though the website to which I'm trying to link is exactly the site that some of DU's coders need to read. This mishmash of HTML is ridiculous.

put brackets around this, and replace the '.' with the letter 'h' at the beginning of the photo address:

In the URL, leave out the http://
